Pump.fun đź’Š

There's a significant issue with the current trends on pump fun today.

Right now, everyone is jumping on new launches because they offer the highest potential returns. However, this approach has two major downsides: 1) the sheer number of coins makes it overwhelming to choose wisely, and 2) jumping into fresh launches is incredibly risky for most people.

As a result, coins that don’t deserve attention often get it, while those with real potential are overlooked. This creates a distorted market, and there's a need for a better system to help people identify which coins are truly worth backing.

But the solution isn’t to restrict creativity or limit freedom. Setting arbitrary rules only benefits the few who know how to manipulate the system, making the situation worse than it is now.

Evidence shows that similar restrictions in other products have failed miserably. The real solution lies in significantly better curation—making the market safer but still exciting. The first steps are in motion, but there's still a long way to go.

Back to the trenches frens.

Foldable Google Pixel??? đź“ž

Google has been on a roll with consumer hardware this August. Last week, they unveiled the much-anticipated Nest Thermostat and introduced the Google TV Streamer, which marks the end of the 11-year-old Chromecast line. And today, at the Made by Google 2024 event, the tech giant is set to refresh its Pixel lineup with a range of new smartphones.

Unlike previous Made by Google events, which typically took place on the East Coast in October, this year’s event is happening at Google’s Mountain View headquarters. The event kicks off today, August 13, at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET.

International Left-Handers Day, a day dedicated to celebrating the uniqueness of left-handed individuals in a predominantly right-handed world. First observed in 1976, this day raises awareness about the challenges left-handers face and promotes the development of products designed to make life easier for them. Fun fact: about 10% of the world’s population is left-handed, including famous figures like Leonardo da Vinci and Bill Gates!
